Doomsday or TGIF?

Be prepared. Over the next three years, we’ll all have to decide for ourselves.

December 21st, 2012 looms just over three years in the future. That date has been a subject of discussion and dissension for literally thousands of years. The Mayan calendar isn’t renewed after that date; and it has enjoyed a 5,000 year uninterrupted run.

It is this calendar which is most often cited when discussing a possible winter solstice to end all solstices.

Others claim astronomy as their end-date authority. For others it is the I-Ching and/or the Christian Bible’s apocalyptic prophecies.

The ever popular Nostradamus makes a solid showing for the doom sayers.

As usual, for every point being made there are numerous counter points being offered.

Has anyone yet taken the time to assemble all the arguments–pro and con–concerning this 2012 phenomena?

Assembling ALL the possible points of discussion of this weighty subject is probably impossible for any one man;  but one has certainly made a good first try.

James Sayer will soon be releasing his 123 page discussion of the 12/21/2012 deadline/lifeline that so rapidly approaches. Official release date will be two days from now, Sept. 1st, 2009.

That’s three years, two months and 20 days to make whatever preparations you deem necessary, after reading his very thorough exploration of possible responses.

A free overview of what to expect is available right now at the website. Securing the preliminary report will place you on the waiting list for the complete release,  available on Tuesday.

I offered to do some proofreading of the book.  I have seen a rough copy of what’s coming.

I’ll tell you, as I told James,  the last 23 pages alone are enough to guarantee some world changing decisions.  That final section of the book,  pages 100 thru 123 will probably keep me thinking and planning till the final day of my life–be it Dec. 21, 2012 or some other.

Find your own answers.  It will never be too late;  just as it will never be too early.

Doomsday or TGIF?  Or do we have to choose? You decide.
